Will I be notified when someone is on their way to my house?

Yes! Equipped with powerful technology, Snow Elf keeps you informed every step of the way. We provide timely notifications of our arrival and even share before-and-after photos of the job completed.

How much does it need to snow in order for someone to come clear my sidewalk/driveway?

A snow event is considered a minimum of 2cm; if it snows less than that, our team is not dispatched out. If the 2cm snow fall is only reached late in the evening, our team will be sent out the following day to complete your snow removal service.

I only have a single car garage but my driveway is very large and I can park 3 vehicles on it. What option should I select at checkout?

Please select the option based on how many vehicles you can park in your driveway - in this example you would select the 3-car driveway option. We understand that not all driveways are a standard size so please select the option based on how many vehicles the driveway holds.

If you happen to select the wrong option, we will show up to clear the snow, but you will be notified if you needed to select a different option. You will then have the option to correct or cancel your subscription and you will be refunded the full amount less the one-time fee for the correct driveway size.

I don't have a garage, but I have a parking pad, what option do I select at checkout?

Please select the option based on how many vehicles you can park on the parking pad. If you are unsure, we can have someone out to your home to provide you with an in-person quote and answer any questions you may have.

 

​I would like a seasonal service, but I want to pay monthly, how do I do that?

When you are making your selection for which service frequency you would like (one-time, monthly, or seasonal) please select 'monthly' in the dropdown menu. further down the page you will then see an option for either a one-time purchase or a subscription option, please select the subscription option.

​I just purchased a monthly snow removal service, when can I expect for someone to be at my house?​

We will make our best effort to ensure that someone is on site to clear the snow as soon as possible however we unfortunately cannot guarantee that this will be done the same day as the purchase. We can guarantee that your home will be services no later than the following day.

​If it snows all day and you come shovel in the morning, will someone be back to clear the snow again?

With all of our services, only a single visit per snow event per day is included. During large snow events we have many houses to service, some of which will be cleared in the morning, and others later in the day. Unfortunately, due to the large volume of houses which we service we are only able to service each home once per day.

​

​Can I cancel my monthly or seasonal services if I decide I need to get some more exercise and I want to and want to shovel my walkway/driveway myself?

Yes, your service may be canceled anytime. If you cancel your seasonal service, you will be refunded on a prorated monthly basis with your service being canceled at the end of the current month. If you cancel your seasonal service within the first 5 days of the month and there have been no snow events, you may request an immediate cancelation and you will not be charged for that month.

​If you cancel a monthly service, you will be charged on a per time basis for the number of times we have serviced your home that month, with the balance being refunded to you. For example, if we have serviced your home 3 times that month, you will be refunded your monthly cost less the cost of three one-time services.

I ended up shoveling my walkway myself before Snow Elf arrived, can I request a refund?

Cancelations must be made the day prior to the scheduled service. Our Snow Elves are dispatched first thing in the morning with their dedicated routes so cancelations made the same day as the service cannot be refunded. if our Snow Elves arrive at your property and the snow has already been cleared, they will make their best effort to clear any areas which may have been missed or to clean up the snow as best they can.

I have a back yard/patio which I would also like shoveled. Are you able to provide custom services to clear that snow also?

Yes, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We listen attentively to your specific requirements, taking the time to understand your unique needs and tailor our snow removal services accordingly. Small paths can be incorporated into your service by adding in the notes section at checkout and can likely be included at no charge (size dependent). If you are looking for a patio or deck to be cleared, please reach out to us directly to discuss your specific needs as well as pricing of this service. 

 

We will make every effort to incorporate any specific requests you may have and ensure your home is serviced to the best of our ability. If for some reason we do not feel that we will be able to effectively provide the customized service you are requesting, we may have to advise you that we cannot incorporate your request.

I have a business where we need the sidewalks shoveled. Do you only do residential or are you able to shovel the sidewalk in front of my business also?

For any services which you do not see on our Book Now page, please feel free to reach out to us directly and we would be more than happy to discuss your unique needs.

​I signed up for just one month of services, but I would like to renew for another month, how do I do that?

You are able to go onto our Book Now page anytime and purchase another month of service. If you decide you would like this to be recurring for the season, you may select the 'Monthly Subscription' option at checkout and you will receive monthly services, being charged monthly.
